This Privacy Policy explains how Seal (“Seal”, “we”) handles personal data when you visit this website or contact us. It applies to our website and marketing activities. Where Seal processes data on behalf of a customer under a services agreement, that agreement and its data processing addendum govern, and this policy is secondary.
2. Data we collect
We deliberately collect as little as possible.
You give us
- Contact details you submit: name, work email, company, job title, company size, and the content of your message.
- Recruitment information you submit when applying for a role.
Collected automatically
- Technical data: IP address, user agent, referring page, pages viewed, and approximate region, used for security and aggregate analytics.
We do not collect
- Biometric identifiers, facial recognition data, or behavioral data about identified shoppers or employees.
- Payment card numbers or government identifiers through this website.
- Special category data. Please do not send it to us.
3. How we use it, and our lawful bases
- To respond to you: performance of a contract or steps taken at your request.
- To operate and secure the website: legitimate interests in security, abuse prevention, and reliability.
- To improve our product and content: legitimate interests, using aggregated or de-identified data.
- To meet legal obligations: compliance with applicable law.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
4. Who we share it with
We share personal data only with processors acting on our documented instructions and bound by written confidentiality and security obligations: hosting, email delivery, and analytics providers. We may disclose data where legally compelled, and to a successor in the event of a merger or acquisition, subject to this policy.
5. International transfers
Seal operates from Washington, D.C. and Tel Aviv. Personal data may therefore be transferred to and processed in the United States, Israel, and the European Economic Area. Where required, transfers are made under appropriate safeguards, including Standard Contractual Clauses or an applicable adequacy decision.
6. Retention
We retain enquiry data for up to 24 months from last contact, recruitment data for up to 12 months after a decision unless you consent to longer, and security logs for up to 12 months. We then delete or irreversibly anonymise it, except where a longer period is legally required.
7. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where processing rests on consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting prior processing.

8. Cookies
We use strictly necessary cookies to operate the site, and limited first-party analytics to understand aggregate usage. We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. You can block cookies in your browser; strictly necessary cookies cannot be disabled without affecting the site.
9. Security
We apply encryption in transit and at rest, least-privilege access control, tenant isolation, logging, and periodic review. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Children
The website and services are for business use and are not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided data, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be signaled by updating the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance.
